Set up Business Cockpit

The Digistore24 Business Cockpit is the center of your business. You decide which statistics and data you want to display. This way, you see everything you need for a successful business at a glance.

Components of the Business Cockpit

Dashboards

You can create different overviews in the Business Cockpit. We call these Dashboards.

Tiles

Every statistic you create in the Business Cockpit is displayed in a so-called tile.

Metrics

One or more values, known as metrics, are displayed in a tile.

Examples of metrics are the number of your sales, your earnings or the conversion rate.

Below you will find a list of all the metrics.

List of metrics

Customer lifetime value

The average earnings (= vendor net payout) per customer including all purchases, upsells, recurring payments minus returns.

Helps you discover how much each customer is worth.

Sales

The number (sales or earnings - depending on the setting) of initial and upsell sales.

An overview that enables you to see every change immediately.

Earnings per click

The average earnings per click on a promolink.

Helps you find out the maximum costs for your adverts.

Total overview

Detailed overview of the total earnings in a certain time period.
Important: Returns and chargebacks already deducted

Enables you to never lose track of your business.

Current subscriptions

The number (sales or earnings = net payout amount) for all active subscriptions.

An overview of your recurring income and a guide to help you plan new content.

Next payouts

The next expected payout amounts and dates.

Information on when you will receive how much money, enabling you to plan for the future.

Cancellations

The number of returns and chargebacks within a selected period.

Useful for detecting weaknesses in your sales funnel or your products in good time.

Unsubscriptions

The number of cancelled subscriptions and installments.

Useful for detecting weaknesses in your sales funnel or your products in good time.

Visitors

The number of promoclicks or order form visitors (depending on the setting).

Useful for measuring success and optimizing your campaigns.

Conversion rate

The conversion rate of order forms or sales pages (depending on the setting).

Useful for detecting weaknesses in your sales funnel or your products in good time.

Top products

The most successful products including display of the respective earnings, revenue or sales figures (depending on the setting).
Important: Cancellations already deducted

Useful for finding out which products you should focus on.

Top affiliates

The most successful affiliates including display of the respective earnings, revenue or sales figures (depending on the setting).
Important: Cancellations already deducted

Useful for finding out which affiliates should be given top priority.

Top vendors

The most successful vendors including display of the respective earnings, revenue or sales figure (depending on the setting).
Important: Cancellations already deducted

Useful for finding out which vendors should be given top priority.

KPI table

All KPIs you have set up in the correct order, including trends, in a table.

Useful for experts to compare different metrics in relation to each other.

Display types

The display types determine how the metrics are displayed in the tile. 

For example, your sales statistics can be displayed in a table or as a line chart.

List of display types

Line chart

For almost all metrics

Displays the statistics of your metric in a graph showing the value amounts (Y-axis) in a given time period (X-axis).

Value display

For almost all metrics

Displays the statistics of your metric in a table. The value amount (= row) is assigned to a certain time period (= column).

List

For metric: Total overview

Shows your total earnings in a table. Each row shows the earnings of a day, month, year or week.

Subscription display

For metric: Current subscriptions

Shows how many current subscriptions you have and displays the corresponding revenue for this month and next month.

Unsubscriptions display

For metric: Unsubscriptions

Shows the total number of unsubscriptions in the last seven days as well as the type of subscription.

Top list

For metrics:
Top products/affiliates/vendors

Shows your top products, top affiliates or top vendors in a table together with the corresponding cancellation rate and earnings.

KPI table

For metric: KPI table

Shows the values you have set in a table. You can use it to compare different metrics with each other.

Set up Business Cockpit

Add Tile

  1. Once you are logged in, click on the Digistore24 logo in the top left-hand corner. You are now in the Business Cockpit.
  2. Make sure that you are in the desired Dashboard.
  3. Click on + Add tile.
  4. Select a Metric.
  5. Select a Display type. This step is not necessary for all metrics.
  6. Define the Settings for the tile.
  7. If you want, you can insert additional filters.
    If you have selected the display type "Line chart", each filter will correspond to another line that will be added to your chart.
  8. Click on Finish.

Edit Tile

  1. Once you are logged in, click on the Digistore24 logo in the top left-hand corner. You are now in the Business Cockpit.
  2. Make sure that you are in the desired Dashboard.
  3. Hover over the desired Tile and click on the  icon in the top right-hand corner and select EEdit.
  4. Change the desired settings/filters and then click on Save.

Remove Tile

  1. Once you are logged in, click on the Digistore24 logo in the top left-hand corner. You are now in the Business Cockpit.
  2. Make sure that you are in the desired Dashboard.
  3. Hover over the desired Tile and click on the  icon in the top right-hand corner and select EDelete.

Move/Rearrange Tile

  1. Once you are logged in, click on the Digistore24 logo in the top left-hand corner. You are now in the Business Cockpit.
  2. Make sure that you are in the desired Dashboard.
  3. Click on the tile and, keeping the mouse button pressed, drag it to the desired position.

Create Dashboard

  1. Once you are logged in, click on the Digistore24 logo in the top left-hand corner. You are now in the Business Cockpit.
  2. Click on + Create Dashboard.
  3. Enter a name for your Dashboard.
  4. Click on Create.
  5. To switch to the newly created Dashboard, click on the Dashboard name.

Copy Dashboard

  1. Once you are logged in, click on the Digistore24 logo in the top left-hand corner. You are now in the Business Cockpit.
  2. Make sure that you are in the desired Dashboard.
  3. Hover the mouse over the desired dashboard in the dashboard bar at the top and then click on the icon.
  4. Select Copy.
  5. The name of the copied dashboard is now "Copy of [NAME]". To switch to the copy, click on the name.

Move Dashboard

  1. Once you are logged in, click on the Digistore24 logo in the top left-hand corner. You are now in the Business Cockpit.
  2. Make sure that you are in the desired Dashboard.
  3. Click on the icon for the dashboard.
  4. Select Move.
  5. Drag and drop your dashboard to the desired position.
  6. Click on OK.

Rename Dashboard

  1. Once you are logged in, click on the Digistore24 logo in the top left-hand corner. You are now in the Business Cockpit.
  2. Make sure that you are in the desired Dashboard.
  3. Click on the icon for the dashboard.
  4. Select Rename.
  5. Enter a name for the dashboard.
  6. Click on Rename.

Delete Dashboard

  1. Once you are logged in, click on the Digistore24 logo in the top left-hand corner. You are now in the Business Cockpit.
  2. Make sure that you are in the desired Dashboard.
  3. Click on the icon for the dashboard.
  4. Select Delete.
  5. Click on Accept.
