The Interface in the Vendor View

As soon as you log in to Digistore24, you’ll be directed to the backoffice. Here you can adjust all the settings for your business, manage your data and view your statistics.

To switch between the affiliate view and the vendor view, click on “View” in the black menu bar at the top of the page, and then select the view you want from the dropdown.

​At the top of the page there is a black menu bar - the header menu - with the following options:

The main menu is directly under the header menu on the right-hand side. In the vendor view you will see the menu items: Dashboard, Marketplace, Account, Reports and Settings. The functions that are available here and the settings you can adjust are explained in detail in the following.

​1. Dashboard

After you log in, you first land on your personal dashboard at Digistore24. Here we provide you with an overview of the current status of your business and display important key figures for you.

Please note that your dashboard will look different depending on whether you are in vendor view or affiliate view. In the vendor view, there are the following key figures.

​2. Marketplace

As a vendor, the Digistore24 marketplace serves to announce your products to affiliates looking for promotable products. You do not offer your product to the customer on our marketplace – since the marketplace is all about your future affiliates, not your product sales.

    • Product that is offered in addition to the initial product on the order form
    • Add-ons are additional products that complement your main product and are selected before purchase confirmation. They are different to upsell products, which are offered directly after the purchase

    • For single payments: A sale is a complete payment transaction
    • For installments and subscriptions: A sale is the first (initial) payment not including the following payment(s)

  1. Product that is offered to the customer in the sales process after rejecting an upsell and before the customer gains access to the product they’ve already purchased

    • A definite click on the Digistore24 promolink. Definite means that only one click is counted per person.
    • Clicks done by bots are excluded from the Digistore24 statistics. Clicking on the promolink leads to a sales page. Promoclicks are counted e.g. in order to compare the amount of clicks with the number of actual purchases later on (the so-called conversion).

    • Link that directs you to a sales page and contains the product information, as well as the affiliate ID
    • For the difference between promolink and contentlink, see also Contentlink.

  2. Amount of conversions divided by the exact amount of visitors.

  3. Digital signature with which the customer’s order data that has been transferred to the thank you page URL can be protected from manipulation

  4. Application Programing Interface or programing interface that allows external systems to read data (e.g. product lists or Digistore24 orders)

  5. Link to the order form

  6. Form for entering and sending your personal data for the customer (e.g. name and email address)

  7. Program through which a promoting affiliate recruits new affiliates via a promolink provided by the vendor. The affiliate receives a percentage of the commission from the vendor for every sale generated by the newly recruited affiliate.

    • A fulfillment partner is a company that is responsible for the packaging and delivery of your physical products
    • Digistore24 offers the possibility of technically connecting this partner to our platform. This way, your partner will be informed of the shipping address when a physical product is sold.
    • Please note that you must use a fulfillment partner independently. Digistore24 can only offer technical connection, and can’t help with selecting a fulfillment partner or even with delivery.

  8. This function can be used by vendors who want to block domains which should no longer send any traffic. These domains may be platforms, such as MyAdvertisingPays. If an affiliate places an advert (e.g. the affiliate placed promolinks there) on a domain blocked by the vendor, then a customer can’t complete the purchase via this promolink. Otherwise, the vendor could easily deceive his affiliates by simply blocking their domains. The vendor who doesn’t want to pay affiliates who advertise on certain domains has no right to the sale. An error message is displayed to the customer if they try to make a purchase.
